Song Description

why get married, if your already getting it?

Story Behind the Song

the term came up in my conversation one day, and bingo!

Broadjam Member Reviews

Nice bluesy feel and well-supported by harmonies.
Superb vocalist.
Like the use of mandolin.
Nice sfx interval!

    - Phil Oakwood

The song opens with a different kind of sound. It built up some anticipation as to how the song was going to go, which I actually liked. Good vocal arrangement and rhythm. Ideal length for commercial appeal. It has an "old style" Country kinda feel. Catchy lyrics.

    - Nick Berry
Lyrics

(V)A white picket fence, was all i'd ever dreamed. Then he told me that he loved me, or so it seemed.I finally gave him what he wanted, I just wanted to please. Now he's moved on to the next girl, and left my heart to bleed..(C)He ain't never gonna buy the cow, if the milk is free. If you're gonna just give it away, don't expect him not to leave. He won't respect you in the mornin',honey can't you see? He ain't never gonna buy the cow, if the milk is free.(V)It's so easy just to give in, to those puppy dog eyes. But when you wake up the next mornin', he's gone with no goodbye's. He's just a wolf in sheeps clothing, can't you see his disguise? He'll tell you anything you want to hear, so don't you fall for his lies. (C)(B)They say you can't hurry love, just take it slow and you'll see. Why take the chance, you may lose your precious dignity? (C) He ain't never gonna buy the cow, if the milk is freeee!
