A child seen at a distance, suffering that filled my mind with thoughts of how to help.

Song Description

Plight suffered by many, but focused on a child homeless and hopeless. My goal is to break through the self-involved gaze that blinds us to the suffering of others. This child wants a better life than the one he has. It could be any one of us. The line that separates us from the homeless could be crossed and then we would be asking for help to escape it.
