Lyrics
LIGHT OF THE MOON
1st Verse
From dawn to dusk I watch the passage of time
The hours pass and soon the arm it unwinds
Until night
Slowly creeps into my sight
And sleepless nights suspended looking above
Because the absence of the one I love
Keeps my soul
Numbing my skin into a cold
CHORUS
By the light of the moon I can see
There’s not a lot of fight left in me
By the light of the moon I can say
That soon as I wake, I’ll stay another lonely day
2nd Verse
And so I bide my time by working my goals
So I can say one day remember I told
When I came
That no one would forget my name
But if alone I had to make it I see
It’s just not sweet enough unless she can be
By my side
An equal who was there for the ride
CHORUS
By the light of the moon I have seen
There’s still a little fight left in me
By the light of the moon I can say
That soon as I wake, I’ll chase away the lonely day
CHORUS
By the light of the moon I have seen
There’s plenty of the fight left in me
By the light of the moon I can say
That soon as I wake, soon as I wake
The light of the moon I have seen
There’s plenty of the fight left in me
By the light of the moon I will say
That soon as I wake, I’ll find her by the end of the day
