Well, I wanted to be creative on this single so I decided to use personification to get my point across and relate the effect of drugs to this thing called love. For any man who's been in a relationship, you should know exactly what you're looking for in a woman. Sure while your single you're gonna mingle, but after a while that gets tiring and you want something more valuable than just one night stands. The song is called Sober because one night stands happen mostly when you're drunk or high and even though it feels good, you're technically not yourself for the night until the next morning when you wake up sober. I relate that to the women you wanna be with. One night stands are when you're drunk or high, and true love happens when your Sober.
