Story Behind The Song
This song was born spontaneously on September 2nd, 2003, as my brother Gabriel and I were playing one of my songs Together Forever Whenever and then I suddenly shifted into a new chord progression and the lyrics followed as well. It was truly an amazing moment! After a few minutes, we stopped and looked at each other knowing that we had just tapped into something divine. I woke up that morning thinking about Bono, so it was no wonder that this new song had a very U2ish sort of sound. The astonishing thing though is that a couple of days later, I found out that Bono was not only on the island of Maui but was staying just down the road from me! This song is a tribute to Bono and the band U2 and is dedicated to all of those who have loved ones awaiting them in heaven (see "You?re In Heaven" under the main category "Creation Of Love" and ?Nauveau? under the main category ?Beloved Friends? on the Love dvd).
