Lyrics

Well the winds are kickin? up
And the waves are rollin? high
I?m standin on the beach and thinkin?
How can I be wise?

I dig my toes in deep
And I scrunch ?em in the sand.
I sure don?t ever want to be
A double-minded man.

I want a single heart
A single mind?.
Stable in my ways and steady
All the time.

Lord, give me?. A single mind.

A spirited little Christian ditty.

Cute for the lighthearted.

You 2 sing very well. I thought it was really good with the kids in the background. Top marks for production value. Loved the solo piano. a real treat.

This is a fun song and the performance reflects that. Great pitch and tone. I always get told by the engineer and producer to "smile on this part" it makes a difference if your facial expression matches what you're singing. The solo piano at the end seems out of place it seems like it ls reinforcing the feeling of the song, it doesn't need to , the message and feeling is quite clear.

I really like this song!. I totally agree with the lyrics because I too want a healthy single heart and mind!!!!! I really appreciate the boldness and lack of shame displayed to create such a song these days. I can hear this playing in a Christian film scene or on Christian tv broadcasting shows. I like the music. I like the dynamics of how it was sung. The song made me feel like I was at home in a little town wanting to be better for God! Great words, great harmony too!

reminded me of some of the songs the Beach Boys sang.

This sounds a whole lot like Ms. Kate and I really like it. I love the piano riffs and the cool beat but most of all I like the lead vocals - very cool song with a great message!

enjoyable tune. good production balance. Just enjoyable.
good instrumentation as well. excellent harmony!

yes, nice and clean, easy to understand. real nice vocals as well. this sounds like Nashville to me.
i like the sound of the real piano. (kudos to the piano player by the way). Especially like the way the piano rolls back in at the end. Nice job!

Great Song! Really up beat, foot tapping song :-) Like it alot. great job!!

Great track! Nice piano playing! Easy listening and good moode !

Instrumentation was great... Keyboard was kicking..... Was a very catchy tune and was easy to feel the song.

Fun song! I bet this is really great to do live! Great piano work!

Really liked the message. Loved the piano. A great song which was positive with a message that is important. Also like the rough edge to the vocals. Loved, loved, loved the piano.
