Story Behind The Song
The song came out at a point when I was feeling a bit hopeless. I was in a place where I was not finding myself, questioning what life was about and what I'm supposed to be doing with it. The song itself was kind of an accident, though. One night I was strumming along on the guitar and the words and melody "Where do we go, now that we are alone" just kind of poured out. I knew I had something there and it fit perfectly with what I was going through at that time. The rest of the lyrics were pretty much done in ten minutes. It is the quickest song i've ever written.

The question, "Where do we go?", in this song, is being asked by anyone who is feeling lost or hopeless. It could be from losing somebody, not finding your place in life or sadness in general. When we find ourselves in these situations, it's best to seek out comfort and help from the ones we love...or anyone who will listen. But when we are alone....Where do we go?
