Story Behind The Song
"Beside You" (I'm with Jesus) is the most difficult song I've ever written because it was penned to memorialize a dear friend and church leader, James Hunter -- who went Home to be with Jesus after a brief battle with cancer. I hope and pray it ministers to all who have lost a loved one.
