Song Description
A little while after Harrison's passing I wanted to compose a proper tribute to him and his wonderful music. I chose to approach the song as though George himself were writing it. What would he say to his friends, fans and family. I also wanted to include his deep spirituality and tongue in cheek sense of humour.
Then to cap it all off I attempted to write it in Harrison's style.
I hope you enjoy it.

Lyrics
STILL WITH YOU
(A tribute to George Harrison)
©Michael Geraghty
When you cross the river
You know it's not forever
One day you will find me
Standing at your door
I have made the journey
There is no more yearning
I am with the one God
Who has made us all
Chorus:
So let Him into your soul
Give Him your warm hand to hold
And He will be there in your heart
When you feel that I'm gone
All you need do is sing my songs
And I will live on in your hearts
Still with you, I'm still with you
Do you really wonder
If I am rain or thunder
Or if I am flying
Out across the stars?
Let me tell you plainly
Don't ramble on insanely
I am here in God's arms
I am not on Mars
Chorus
Bridge:
You, all of my life
You, every night
You, there in my arms
You, You
When you cross the river
You know it's not forever
One day you will find me
Standing at your door.
