Song Description

The war had to be addressed. Because many of us feel so powerless to change the situation, we do what we can to show our true feelings and outrage toward it. This is my meager statement, my indignant protest piece.

Lyrics

Clean Water
Words and Music: by Michael Day
Copyright: Invisible Adversary Music ASCAP

I will call your name
Everyday each and every moment I realize
I am living in the past and future never looking life straight in the eye
Till its gone
And my memory cannot decide to move on,
Or to tie me down and pay for what I?ve done

Why do I deserve your love?
Your care your trust
Am I really enough
With all the things I?ve done so wrong
Damn but your brave to not turn back away right now

I believe no wars are fought for peace they fight for greed ? well
Is taking someone?s life for what we need the better outcome than diplomacy?
He smile?s and says ?Gods will is on our side.?
?Trust me? ? I know when leaders lie you can?t believe well?
Everything I say is that I mean
I only want the chance to hold you close and show you love is right here by your side.

Now I ? I need one more kiss
It?s all I miss
Each time we say goodbye
With all the things I have done so wrong
You don?t turn me away

Oh why do we fight for what we can?t defend then enlist minorities ? why?
Where is the promised land the hope for man, clean water for the woman and child?
Establishing democracy is not just the answer that we need.
