Story Behind The Song
My daughter was falling love for the first time and in after numerous phone calls from her asking "How do you know this is love?", the song grew from there. There was a sweetness and innocence about her trepidation and reluctance to call what she was feeling "love" for fear she would jinx it. This song expresses those feelings.

Lyrics
CAN THIS BE LOVE?
She hears his voice inside her head
Every tender word he said
Stirs like a melody inside her
He?s never felt this way before
Never wanted someone more
Seems everything reminds him of her
Oh! The feeling! Senses reeling?
Everything feels new
Do dreams come true now that there?s you
Can this be love?
She waits beside the telephone
He dials and prays that she?ll be home
Anticipation fuels the fire
She knows the secret that he keeps
He dreams about her when she sleeps
This tenderness becomes desire
Oh! The feeling! Senses reeling?
Everything feels new
Do dreams come true now that there?s you
Can this be love?
Bridge:
One moment in space
Two hearts in one place
Now love has a face??????
Oh! The feeling! Senses reeling?
Everything feels new
Do dreams come true now that there?s you
Can this be love?
He holds her closer to his heart
She says ?We?ll never fall apart?.
Tomorrow?s safe inside today?
And she finds a reason to believe
He vows his love eternally?
There?s just so much they want to say?
But?.Oh! That feeling! Senses are reeling?
Everything feels new
Do dreams come true now that there?s you
Can this be love? Can this be love? Can this be love?
