Not Everything, but Most of It

Story Behind The Song

This is the second in a set of pieces I composed while still in college.

Song Description

The piece is based on the idea of a meteor hurtling through space and encountering an asteroid field, before being pulled into the gravitational field of a nearby planet and crashing into the planet with devastating impact, utterly demolishing it. What follows is the aftermath, as the fragments of rock drift aimlessly through space.
