Song Description

A simple demo, of a song played on an acoustic guitar that has potential, if produced and mixed properly, to stand out with its catchy chorus.

Story Behind the Song

Noticing the realisation that small towns are in fact closing down. It's unbelievable to think that things that were once thriving can one day come to an end. But at least someone believes that there's a better place to go at the end of the day.

Lyrics

This old town is closing down, I've seen a sign upon the door. Someone handed me a pamphlet of a better place, it turns out he was preaching all the more.
It beggars belief, it beggars belief how its turned out this way. It beggars belief, it beggars belief what lies at the end of the day.
Left beggared is how it is and thats made it so tough. Better place now seems like a long way off, from the times when we had more than enough.
It beggars belief, it beggars belief how its turned out this way. It beggars belief, it beggars belief what lies at the end of the day.
Where's that pamphlet when you need it?
To get ahead of the chase.
If it's as good as that we need an app,
To put us in the place.
It beggars belief, it beggars belief how its turned out this way. It beggars belief, it beggars belief what lies at the end of the day.
This old town is closing down, I've seen a sign upon the door.
