Story Behind The Song
For me the song is about change, and the chance of freedom. I always imagine black and white images of soldiers of war, the Berlin wall always comes into mind and living under rule or dictatorship. We tried to create an ambience with the drum sequence to get the feel of moving planets along with the flatline at the end which is the worlds heartbeat.
Song Description
Oh world is song about a relationship ending when it feels like the end of the world but rather than it being female orientated i guess it came out as if the world was dying, or fading away with what we do to the world 'Bullet holes and the reign of fear'.. and also what we do and how we feel in our relationships 'Did i love you in these arms'?

Lyrics
People danced and people cheered
As we scaled the walls for a thousand years
Dying from love as we understood the trail
Shrouded in mystery we wondered on
Through the holy fields to the prodigal son
and we knew too much.
Hold your head up high, build castles in the sky
Where we dream so much it hurts
It only takes as long to say that I was wrong
And did I love you in these arms?
If what I believe is true, then the world would rather you
Say goodbye or disarm
Bullet holes and the reign of fear
The sharpened knives and the endless tears
Shaking down the tenement halls
We take a stand and gently fall (freedom lies beneath the rain)
Breaking the seal around us is gone
These words I say the world is one
But where have you gone?
Oh world, oh where have you gone?
