Story Behind The Song
This song pretty much expresses what I have felt trying to find what it is that I am supposed to do in this world, or rather, what I would like to do with my life. I am not growing any younger and as time passes by, I sometimes felt that I do not seem to be any closer achieving anything. I?m sure that a lot of people out there would share the same predicament.
Song Description
This harrowing song about the struggle of trying to get somewhere in life is expressed by the singer?s wailing vocal delivery and the melancholic melody of the lead guitar that fades in louder and louder until it dominates the entire song. For the artist, the volume of the lead guitar melody signifies the character?s awareness of his situation. The further he progresses with his thoughts, the more he gets agitated, the louder the lead guitar gets. Until at last, there?s no words left to express his frustration, the guitar takes the lead.

Lyrics
Watching them living, and I?m asking, ?What have I done??
Because I feel that time is slipping away.
And I know that I can do anything,
If only I knew what I wanted
But oh I still need to know.
Boy I need to know soon.
Where do I go?
I feel that I have just been watching you,
All the while, then it just strikes my mind,
That my life is passing bye,
Right before my very eyes.
But it?s not the end.
I?m just watching the water go?
I?m aware I have to forge ahead,
Because I can?t afford to loose myself,
Because he?s all I have left in me,
And he knows what is not going to be:
It?s not the end.
