Story Behind The Song
Virginia has very specific red clay, and is where I grew up. I had to move to California to escape some demons there, which drew me back into old habits, old groups of people I didn't really want to be a part of, but couldn't escape somehow.

Like an old sweater that you can't bear throwing out or donating, there are people and places that follow and haunt you. Despite the real effort to change, when you are around those people and places, you fall back into old, potentially unhealthy habits.
