Story Behind The Song

The title was inspired by the well known jazz instrumental Bag's Groove, written by Milt Jackson, although it is completely different stylistically. "Mag" is a familiar shortening of "Maggie" or "Margaret".

From guitarist Margaret Stowe. Features a flute solo by Kathryn Moses (Bruce Cockburn, Chuck Mangione). Rhythm part has a cool farfesa organ sound. Horns play hooks and riffs. Very catchy.
