Lyrics

SPECIAL ED.
do you want to have lunch, i heard it was free, but can i bring all my friends with me, the hangers on and no one special, sure bring ?em all, it won?t matter,
so you?re a rocket scientist, that?s so cool, but can you fix my swimmin? pool, probably not, i?ll need a specialist, or at least i think i?ll need a chemist, but you can take me to mars, make microwave proof jars that i can use for my baby, but don?t give it saccharine, it?s not good for your honey, the people with money made that study, but now it is o.k, you can eat it every day, and you can have your wine, two glasses at a time, it will help keep your heart well, but if you drink too much, it will start to be a crutch, and you will lose your job, you?ll be livin? like a slob and you won?t have any fun cause you?re livin? in the slums, but someday you will meet a sleeping beauty, and she?ll nurse you back to health, and she?ll have lots of wealth, you?ll have a great life with you?re rich wife, until she goes a stray and finds lots of men to lay, you?ll be a prisoner of her riches, you?d rather be digging ditches, but you have a master plan, you let her hold your had, you?ll be friendly, cuddly, smootchie and lovie, but it?s a bid charade, a big parade, the look of love to friends and family, to hide the fact that you are angry, but you?ll soon be free to end this misery, you?ll put some stuff in her glass, she?ll pass out in the bath, it will look like she drowned, you?ll be again free in this town, but what about the children, you don?t want the burden, so you shake them until they cry, you blame the nanny when they die, it will be a big media splash, but you?ll have the cash, and you?ll be home free, but once again you?ll be lonely, so you?ll have that glass of wine, start drinking all the time, and once again you crash and you? lose all your cash, you lose all your hope, and you?re strung out on dope
and you?re buying wine at 7-eleven and all of a sudden you see heaven, that?s right man, you found religion, everything you held under suspicion, you?ll dedicate your life to jesus and tell everybody he will free us, if we change our evil ways and start doing it right away,
but you will quickly grow disillusioned, you?ll be rapt by confusion, and figure there has to be a better way, like jogging everyday, you?ll talk about the zen of physical fitness and the height of your new awareness, and you?ll be doing yoga and eat fat free, and tell everybody this is how it should be, until the doctor discovers a lump, and says man don?t jump, but I'm sorry son you?re gonna die, there is a cancer on the inside, so once again you find prayer, and you hope it goes somewhere, you?re dyin? in your bed, in your veins you are fed, and you think of drinking, your ex-wife and the kids you laid to rest, what a mess, what a mess, what a mess, say it?s a dream, WAKE UP.
