I was having a rant in the front seat of the car to my husband about my family all acting up and not doing right. In the moment I took a breath I heard my daughter, Mackenzie (three years old at the time) singing the line "Its a battle for our home, It's a battle for our family)
I found a napkin in the glove box and a pen and this song was written with words and music in the time it takes for me to sing it.
