Broadjam Member Reviews

Nice work as a whole. I'm hearing a big time Black Crowes influence...Nice rock and roll vibe, good drive, and good playing/singing on the track. The song is well written and the arrangement is nice. I enjoyed hearing it.

    - Rin Vinson

The lead vocal is low in the mix (first verse it was ok but it got progressively buried) and I'm having trouble understanding the lyrics especially in the chorus. Doesn't sound like any one thing is too loud covering the vocals I just think they should be louder, a little more vocals in the face on a song like this won't hurt. Hi hat may be a little loud noticeable in the solo section.

Lyrics

Bleed

Eating fallen fruit It's all soft and bruised and bleeding So long since it's been hangin' on the tree Seedlings have long since bloomed And been overrun with weeds All that's left tastes more like booze to me

So throw me a bone, something I can eat I've been wastin' away so long, your crumbs could fill me up Try makin' bread from stones, it leaves you bleeding I've been wastin' away so long, and all I want is For someone to feed me

Waitin' for bread to fall so long, it's back to Egypt Can't see a thing but sky and sand Take me away to the Promised Land What can be said about starving? Can't seem to see any harm in
Takin' a bite out of my freedom Everyone else has been sinkin' their teeth in

So throw me a bone, something I can eat I've been wastin' away so long, your crumbs could fill me up Try makin' bread from stones, it leaves you bleeding I've been wastin' away so long, and all I want is For someone to feed me
