Hello Lonely

Story Behind The Song

It was written because of having to live alone for many years after being abandoned by my husband. Instead of choosing to remain lonely, I chose to break free from that loneliness and not allow it to influence me any longer. This song was part of my healing process.

Song Description

This illustrates what happens when a person is feeling alone and all they have is that loneliness and there is no hope that there will be anything else in the future but that loneliness even thouugh the loneliness may leave temporarily.

Lyrics

Well, hello lonely
Where have you been?
Won't you come and stay a while with me
We will keep each other company
Lonely, lonely
Well, hello lonely
it's so nice to see you again
my only friend
lonely
Have I just been wasting my time waiting around feeling lonely?
Well, hello lonely
How long has it been?
It seems we know each other well and know secrets that we'll never tell
Lonely
Lonely
Well, hello lonely,
funny that you're always around
my loyal friend
Lonely
Have I just been wasting my time waiting around feeling lonely?
Well, hello lonely,
thank you for being here with me
but I think it's time for you to say you will leave and not come another day
then maybe I can find another lonely like you.
