Song Description

Twister warnings issued, fear, love, comfort, and believing are all emotions that helped create this song

Story Behind the Song

The radio had issued a tornado warning for the area. I went to the basement with my guitar, some candles and thought about some recent events that had happened: storms, deaths, love, friendship. I felt comforted writing just me and my guitar.....

Lyrics

There's lightning in the sky
there's a storm blowing in
Radio says there's a twister just around the bend
So hold me close
I can't stop trembling

I won't lie
I'm terrified
and your touch
it keeps me warm at night

If this is the end
At least i'm dying with my best friend
When the Twister hits
We'll already be spinning

I want you to know
this is how i choose to go
Just you and I
Flying through the sky

On a Twister x 4

Rain is pouring down
I can't see out my window
Silence all around
I think we've lost the signal
I feel so cold
I can't stop trembling

prechorus
chorus
Bridge
it's not easy
Losing everything that you know
No, it's not easy
Learning how to live and let go
