We all know that famous lady,
Florence Nightengale.
A nursing icon from the war that was
Inspirational...... to a lot of young girls.

Lookin' back I can see her there, all dressed
In white.
A healing angel full of love, workin' day
And night..........to make a better world.

But it wasn't Florence that I saw.
I'm proud to say it was my Mom.

She was gone an awful lot, as I was
Growin' up.
But I've seen the good she's done, and all the lives
She's touched........I feel so blessed.
It's a special kind of soul that does the things

She was doin' what she loved to do.
I'm proud to share my Mom with you.
