Song Description

Songs about other people coming into our lives, snooping around, digging into personal info, want to know personal info, act like they care. The song can also be about first impressions, our superficious nature.

Story Behind the Song

I was in therapy and started to feel a little invaded and angry with what I preceived the therapist to be...a nice guy who cares as long as I pay him...he was snooping into my stuff and I didn't want him there.

Lyrics

Late night storm
Someone's looking in my window
Crawling around stepping in the mud
Looking in my window

Morning breeze
Someone's looking in my window
Smashing all my pretty yellow flowers
Outside my window

Make my bed and tidy my room
Sing a lullaby tuck me in
Draw the blinds and
Shed my skin

Lock me up in a little green room
Draw the blinds turn-out the lights
Lying in the dark I dream about you
Golden slumber..fade away
Lock me up in my little green room

In my room
I can see them in my window
This is who I am
Come and see me through my window

Watch me cry and live my thoughts
Change my color
Paint my face
Masquerade my costums on

Lock me up in a little green room
Draw the blinds turn-out the lights
Lying in the dark I dream about you
Golden slumber..fade away
Lock me up in my little green room
Lock me up in my little green room
