Story Behind The Song

This song was written based on a character in a play who was dreaming of the day that the man she had been living with for 15 years would finally pop the magic question. Sad to say, however this did not happen, but it doesn't stop her from creating an imaginary wedding in her mind and in this song.

"I'm Getting Married" reflects on how long we single ladies wait for that magical question from our future spouses. We dream of that special day when we get married and the romantic in us revels on how exciting that day will be.
