Punky duo Kinky Disco have kept us guessing with each new twist in their work culminating in the release of their album 'Pleasures Unknown' last year. With their fresh new 10 inch 'Deja Vu' they have raised the stakes again, both vocally and in the production. There is something almost viral about the way this number pulls you in, the girl?s attitude and despotic agenda. Daniel?s dirty synth work sounds like sliding guitars, creating an edgy and ominous background like sirens going off, whilst Sharon eases out honey cream vocals delivered with twisted menace that is convincingly trite, before ripping open into her alter ego to growl out her venomous 'Deja Vu' chorus. The production of this track reveals a weathered character that leaves you wondering where Kinky Disco will take us next.
