When a child is born,
We receive a life with grace and goodness.
Children are a gift from the Lord;
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Fearfully and wonderfully made,
Only God alone knows what (s)he will be.

REFRAIN
Let the children come, said Jesus.
You belong in the kingdom of heaven.
Come, and receive God's love.
In God's book are written
All the days that were formed for you,
And they will have no end for God's with you.

When we have a child,
We are called to live with faith before him (her),
Showing him (her) the way (s)he should go
That when (s)he is old (s)he will live so.
What does God require of us all?
Only to be just and love mercy.
