Story Behind The Song
I wrote this after listening to a lot of old Jazz songs with my Grandpa. The language, the style of old jazz standards, all contributed to influencing me to write Stranger.
Song Description
This is a song about being either in or out of a relationship in which the person you adore dosen't return the same affection to you. It's about wanting to be the "beautiful stranger" that make heads turn. Instead of being the plain jane that just blends in with the crowd.

Sing me a song, about the way we?ll get along, when the day turns into night.
Wishes are just words, but your actions will be heard, when you?re holding me tight.
Well, I?m living in a glass ball, I?m trapped inside a snowfall,
you just keep shaking me up for fun.
I wish I was your Stranger,
that you couldn?t take your eyes off of, from across a crowded room.
I wish I was your favorite song, that you listened to over and over,
until you learned to sing along.
Write me a story, about the way you adore me, when I pause before I proceed.
Then push me away love, because that?s what makes love, easier for us to see.
Well I?m living in a ten inch screen, I?m trapped inside a magazine, of all the faces you wish I could be.
I wish I was your Stranger,
that you couldn?t take your eyes off of, from across a crowded room.
I wish I was your Frim-Fram sauce,
because then you?d be satisfied, with only me and only I?
I could,
Feel the pressure building up on my back.
The knots are building alliances to pay be back.
And now my feet don?t want to follow yours anymore but,
here I?m stuck between goodbye, and your, door?
But I,
I wish I was your Stranger, oh,
That you couldn?t take your eyes off of, from across a crowded room.
I wish I was your favorite song, oh, cause then you?d be satisfied, with only me and only I?
