Story Behind The Song

It was based partially upon the movie "The Notebook" wherein a couple separated by parents while teenagers reunite for wto days to see if they should try again. In the movie, the guy gets the girl. In my song, he doesn't, but knows it's just as well.

Song about two old lovers reuniting for two days after many years apart to see if they can see where they went wrong, and whether they should try again. The song begins in anticipation of the reunion, and ends after is has happened.
