Lyrics
Do remember me?
I sure remember you.
Memories in this life are often faded.
We were standing over there.
Moonlight and cold night air.
You promised I would always be your baby.
But have you seen my happy ever after?
The one I lost the minute you were gone.
And did you find that happiness and laughter?
What brings you back after so long?
Did you finally find that leaving me was wrong?
A fairytale that all went wrong.
Once upon a time and you were gone.
Nobody tried to say I'm sorry.
A lesson 'bout the way things are.
You can't just wish upon a star and have a happy ending to the story.
Say have you seen my happy ever after?
The one I lost the minute you were gone.
And did you find that happiness and laughter?
What brings you back after so long?
Did you finally find that leaving me was wrong?
