Story Behind The Song

I wrote the first verse of this song late, late one night in an old, creepy farmhouse in Glengarry County. The notion of a ghostly visitor just stepping in from the night seemed very likely at the time. I wrote the song around that image.

Song Description

A person up late at night revisiting past regrets, is confronted by an eerie visitor who invites him to either drown bad memories or something more corporal. Actually, the message is positive even though it's told through a number of dark, evocative images.
