Song Description

I wrote this song because I was distressed and frustrated about not going anywhere, and being stuck and held down in one place. I wanted out. I wrote this song that said how I was going through these things, but that I knew things would change.

Story Behind the Song

I wrote this song because I was distressed and frustrated about not going anywhere, and being stuck and held down in one place. I wanted out. I wrote this song that said how I was going through these things, but that I knew things would change.

Lyrics

Verse
I am searching to find the answers
To questions unknown
Like how many people can let you down
And when can I not be alone
All these feelings inside of me
They all mix together
And start to form what I call me
Who doesn't know what's for sure

Pre-Chorus
I don't know what comes next
Or its side effects

Chorus
Someday I'll see the end of the equation
Someday I'll understand
Someday the impossible will throw up its hands
Someday the tides will turn
Someday this life will make sense
Though I'm not one to know in light of inexperience
But I believe that things will surely change

Verse
It is said that life throws you curves
But I didn't want boulders
I turn my head and get ready to cry
But there's no shoulder
All these feelings inside of me
They all mix together
And start to form what I call me
Who hopes that this gets better, better

Pre-Chorus
I don't know what comes next
And it's not worth the guess

Bridge
You gotta understand where I'm coming from
You see I'm young and I'm restless and I'm confined to Texas
I want to know what's out there
And I hope it's nice
