Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song with death of loved ones in mind. It was heavily influenced by the death of my father... I thought a lot about what our loved ones would say to us if they could tell us anything to bring comfort. The rain and the storm represent the pain and the tears that naturally come with losing someone who you love dearly.

Lyrics
Stand in the rain;
Do you see me on the other side?
Reach out your hand I, am reachin' for you too.
Drench yourself deep in this moment, time is standing still.
I will be gone soon, but know that I'll always be with you.
(Oh) Feel the raindrop on your fingertips,
Don't shed a tear for me.
I must be crossin' to the other side,
it just has to be...
Listen to my heartbeat, it's slowin' down;
But I feel so alive tonight.
Though I must go, I know
everything will be alright.
So stand in the rain and smile.
Know that in a while,
I'll be leaving, but with you all the time.
It's getting dark, the storm is coming.
I'll meet you at the end of the rainbow... in time.
(Instr.)
You'll see me again...
Just... Stand in the rain.
