Story Behind The Song

The late Richard Gillinson(Midnight Blue, Tammy Wynette's producer) was our mentor and teacher. Charles Krall read his lyrics to our class, and everyone agreed that if he had a melody, he might have something. I went home, picked up my guitar, and for the first time in my life, an entire song came to me at once, or should I say "through" me. Time Out For Jesus is the result!

Song Description

Time Out For Jesus is an inspirational gospel hymn of praise, in a blues, folk like style. It has lots of harmony, and is very easy to sing, suitable for congregations of all denominations, as well as Christian, Country, and folk artists.
