Well as I started become more focused on the things, i wanted to achieve, the closer she felt like she had got to me, only to realize, i had been slipping away.

Lyrics
What is it that you want from me, I can't show you how, to live your life anymore, what was it that I meant to you, so much that you left me, left me alone in the dark
I never lied, I always tried, to keep you safe in my arms and now it hurts to find, I was always the one, to carry on all alone with my hand on the phone, waiting for your call
Why's it so hard to love, was I not enough, to be the one, my arms were opened up still you built a wall
I never understood your words, when you told me goodbye, and had no reason why, just separated by two worlds, where one just defys, the other one wants to unite,
I never lied, I always tried, to keep you safe in my arms and now it hurts to find, I was always the one, to carry on all alone with my hand on the phone, waiting for your call
Why's it so hard to love, was I not enough, to be the one, my arms were opened up still you built a wall
And time, can never heal these wounds, they're deep like me and you and for now, I need to find myself
Why's it so hard to love, was I not enough, to be the one, my arms were opened up still you built a wall
