Lyrics
i always know when things aren't going right for you,
i hear that old familiar knock upon my door
i've listened once too often, now you listen to me,
i won't be your soft shoulder anymore
have you ever wondered why i'm always there?
everytime you ever need a friend?
a friend you can rely on, a shoulder you can cry on,
to hold you til your broken heart mends.
why do i keep opening up the door?
when i know just what you're looking for
why do i believe that someday you will fall in love with me?
when you run right out and find yourself somebody new
and make the same mistakes you made again
no matter what you've told her,
you think you've got my shoulder
to hold you til your broken heart mends
find another shoulder until then.
