Story Behind The Song
This song was written was when I was beyond frustrated with getting the short end of the stick personally and professionally.
It was written out of heaviness and being sick and tired of being sick and tired of not reaping what I know i deserve. In all of that, I chose to have a positive perspective and declare that "EVERYTHING'S ALRIGHT".
On that platform, I could see the sun shining bright. I know what my future holds, what visions I have. The task was getting beyond that sticky moment.
At that place of positive perspective, I was able to revisit who I am and reevaluate my value. It's important to pause and look where you were, are and reset to ensure you are on the right road toward your goals.
I had remind myself that I love to dance, sing and listen to music. I love to create. I somehow needed to get myself in that space to be free. It started in my mind and thought that everything is alright.
Sometimes, you just have to blast your favorite song to help you rid things weighing you down. Dance your way through it.
When no one would or could, I encouraged myself through this song.
Also, I thought it would be fun to shout out the DJ's around the world, so I made it suggestive to ask a DJ to play their favorite song. That's an old school move!
