Story Behind the Song

This song is simply just about how time flies, and to enjoy every minute of it. I wrote it while looking back at things I used to do as a kid.

Lyrics

We've got plenty of complications that never make things right I've got many a days ahead of me to keep up the fight and i know there's never plenty of you to go around but if you listen up than maybe you can hear the sound.

I remember a little bridge i used to take to school
I rode my bike and i thought that i was so cool
but no one ever knew me for what i was
i was just another kid who looked up above

Time flies by i feel just like yesterday i was four foot eight
without a care in the world
Time flies by i feel just like everyone
has gone and had their fun, while im running in a straight line

I remember when we used to go and tee pee a house
we had a score to settle and i sure wasnt out
there were too many people who were starting trouble
it was up to us to play it back in double

the moral of the story is never to grow too old
youve got a heart to give just dont let it grow cold
and maybe one day we can all meet again to
reminisce on all the good times we had back then.
