Wow, great vocal range! Excellent instrumentation; I especially liked the interplay of the violin tracks. Nice guitar track. The vocal to instrumental accompaniment mix was just right. Overall, a quality recording of this favorite.

Sweet and witty - a mild chuckle to take the concept of the mezzanine and work it into so many examples of the in-between. Very pleasant music and a smooth voice one would like to hear more of. It makes me smile - the wit and the concept and the voice of this song.

I really enjoyed the singer's performance and the great instrumentation. The drums are at a perfect level, not overwhelming but still rhythmic and driving. The violin really adds a lot to the song. I only graded it 2 for originality but thats not a bad thing its more a reflection of the poor grading scale. I think it is a very good traditional folk song with strong lyrics.
