That Strategy
© 2007 Words and Music by Warren Hein

Intro Verse
I want to make it you and me
Help me find that strategy

Verse 1
I want to make it you and me
I hope you have the same philosophy
I believed in love's first sight
When I saw you step into the moonlight

Verse 2
I want to make it you and me
Let's ditch this garden party
And if we talk the whole night through
Into the sunrise, wouldn't that be so cool, cool

Chorus
Do you have the same curiosity
From where I stand it's meant to be
Will you help me find that strategy

Bridge
Say you're searching just like me
Can I be the love to set you free

Very good Boys!!

This song is terrific. I also hate what it reminds me of. It doesn't even have anything to do with how song is written. I'm unfairly biased...I had this one experience with a woman I met at a party who was interested in me but I was still as naive as a child, even in my 30s. I still didn't know how to make moves on a woman. So as usual, I failed miserably and missed my chance. But back to this song. It's a strong rocker with direct lyrics, not lyrics you'd hear every day, but it gets to the point in an interesting way! The tune is exciting and urgent. Make that URGENT!!! The fuzz guitars step on the gas and the singer belts it out like it's his last chance! It's a rocking desperate tune! In a movie, this is the big splash of fascination, minds, the once in a lifetime and fantasy like nobody's business! And this song gets it across in a big direct way!

Really cool, catchy tune!! Energy is great and vocalist rocks it! The musicianship/production sounds top notch to my ears! This sounds pretty much radio ready.

energetic, good rock guitar sound, reminds me of the Gin Blossoms sound

Very well put together song with great instrumentation and a very professional arrangement. Nice vocals and performances all-around. Good job.

Nice guitar tones.

Very tuneful bit of 90's pop punk with a little bit of 80's vibe thrown in for good measure, nice arrangement, solid performances all round.
