Lyrics

Cookie Cutter Blonde
(c)2012 Words and Music by Warren Hein

I want a cookie cutter blonde
I want a cookie cutter blonde
I want a cookie cutter blonde

With legs up to here and wearing no brassiere
(That's a bra!)

Botox in her lips jeans so tight she can't sit
(can't sit)

Mascara everywhere everybody stares

Her tank top fits so tight Areolas left and right

No bra rah rah rah
No bra rah rah rah rah
No bra rah rah rah
No bra rah rah rah rah

Wild rides at the fair she wears no underwear

I want a cookie cutter blonde
I want a cookie cutter blonde
I want a cookie cutter blonde

I want a cookie cutter blonde
I want a cookie cutter blonde
I want a cookie cutter blonde
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah

good energy to this song. good ramones + feel to it.

Love the intro! Hook sticks!

I'm assuming this track is meant to be ironic, commenting on how the perfect woman is thought to be a perfect "cookie cutter", barbie-type image. If so, I love the crassness of the lyrics, the references to wanting a "loose" girl, and the rah rahs of the perfect cheerleader type. Going to have to check out some more of your stuff!

This is one of those quintessential punk rock songs. Want to know why?Simple three chord melody, fast beat accentuated by driving drums, clocks in at about two minutes, tongue-in-cheek title and easy repetitive lyrics, socially off, and hooky and fun as f*ck1ng hell!!! Just listen to The Buzzcocks, The Ramones, or Black Flag and you'll know why. Even if punks despised pop hits, this song is commercial as all get out. Well, that's how the Buzzcocks and The Ramones made it, isn't it? This would work well in any submission for television, movies, or albums.

This song is lively and fun. It reminds me of some early punk rock stuff, like The Ramones. The production quality is very good with a clear mix. The guitar tone works nicely, and the bass drives the song to keep your head bobbing. The drumming is solid and stays with the tempo. The arrangements are good, perfect tempo, and great performances. I like the dynamics added by having the guitars drop out towards the end. And the modulation keeps the repeated chorus from feeling stale. The lyrics are funny and paint a picture of exactly what the singer wants. I'm sure a lot of guys (and girls) will appreciate the visuals of the lyrics. The background vocals work well to support the lead, and I can picture the rest of the band singing them in a live setting. A lot of music can feel pretentious, but this song is fun and a breath of fresh air. Nice work!

Really good sound. Excellent arrangement and very amusing lyrics. Really good guitar work. Really high energy sound reminiscent of the 70's or 80's.

Great 80 s vibe very strong beat and it would be very easy to dance to. I love the vocal styling also again very 80s punk /pop feel to the song. Great job! should be a very easy top 10 dance club song.

good song, good mix, funny lyrics, no bra, no bra....yeah. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ OK, you need to find a blonde. LOL

I could hear this in a fun summer movie. nice work.

Great satirical riff on the commercial excesses of the world in which we live. Cleverly written and delivered.

this song has a catchy hook, and i could see this in a late night raunchy comedy.

i LOVE the humor of this piece that hits me as coming from our friends across the pond with musical references back to indie pop and other assorted British creations ....you left me smiling form ear to ear! LOVE IT!!

fun tune, well done great mix
