El Gato prowls in the dead of night
Looking all around for something to bite
He don't care if it's wrong or right
Pouncing on his victims till the morning light
El Gato, prowling in the dead of night
Lounging in the dark with a ball of twine
A couple of lizards and a bottle of wine
Soaking his claws in some turpentine
Purring like a kitten at the scene of the crime
Spanish Ending: Rondando en la noche
I like this song a lot
The instrumentation on this sounds great, and sets a very solid tone throughout. I hear this as Country instead of Rock for sure with the Spanish references. The vocal is good.
Love the groove of this track. Definitely in the pocket! While the song is a simple blues/rock progression, the individual instrumentation really make this song. Levels seem to be right where they need to be. Great little guitar riffs throughout the track that allude to it's Latin styling. I could hear this track possibly in a Robert Rodriguez movie. Great job!
