Song Description

This song has an infectious catchy hook related to takin it easy and Sailin Along to anywhere you'd like to go.

Story Behind the Song

While learning to sail on Biscayne Bay in Miami with Capt. Marshall Sanderhoff aboard the Sandy K., I began humming this melody and then wrote most of the lyrics before we came ashore that night.

Lyrics

(1st Verse)
Takin? my time just to slowdown
I?m tired of this fast paced merry ? go ? round
I don?t want no worry around me
A man is no hurry found me

(Chorus)
Sailin? along in my ship
Singin? a song about my trip
I?m thinkin? about work ? maybe ? sometime
Just sailin? along with the sunshine
Just let your spirit take you
Don?t let your hent for sake you
Give it your best right up front
Hey livin? is fun if you want

(2nd Verse)
Everyone needs to get away
From the hustle and bustle of workin? all day
Just let your mind go fishing
We?re spendin? the day just a wishin? now in

(Chorus) ? (Instrumental) ? (Chorus with lyrics of verse one)
(Chorus out)
