Lyrics

Why are we a pair?
I never thought that we'd compare,
What do you see in me?
Am I what you want me to be?
If I'm not, I'll change,
Just hearing what I've said is very strange

I best be getting home,
I never face the sun alone,
Soon it will be dawn,
Tomorrow we could carry on,
Like a child in school,
You bring out the man, and still bring out the fool,
You are the sun, you are the moon,
Still, I best be leaving very soon

chorus

Your eyes are like diamonds
And your heart is made of gold,
Watch how love is growing,
Together we'll grow old

What was that you said?
You never really look ahead?
I guess I see you're right,
And it's too late for our first fight,
Well it's the sun, there you are,
I lose my battle to the fading stars

You are the sun, you are the moon,
Still, I best be leaving very soon

chorus

Your eyes are like diamonds
And your heart is made of gold,
Watch how love is growing,
Together we'll grow old
