Peace Valley Park was written on my then-brand-new 12 string guitar years ago. The song has been rattling around in my head ever since, and committed to "tape" for the first time only recently. It was directly inspired by the beautiful lakeside house I was living in at the time (in Marlborough, Massachusetts for those who care).
It existed all these years without a title until I recorded it, at which time I named it after another cool place I lived a few years ago. That would be Bucks County, Pennsylvania...a place still close to my heart despite the rampant and revolting developments. Yes, folks, somewhere in the world there really IS a "Peace Valley Park"!
