Story Behind The Song

Frosty was leaving home for the first time to go to college at Kansas State University and he recalls the long 2-hour trip that he drove. That trip seemed a lot longer to him that day, thinking about all of the memories he had growing up and realizing that his life was changing as a young man-for the better!

Frosty Lawson was born and raised in Kansas. This song describes all the things he misses about his home state, now that he's living in the New York/New Jersey area.
