Story Behind The Song
It's always a challenge to make a real flamenco tune, then make it into metal, and vice versa. I believe with this song it may be the first to combine heavy metal vocals in english with flamenco vocals in spanish and still be dark and underground, and not at all pop.
Song Description
A flamenco song in the rhythmic and tonic form of tangos(4/4), but done as speed metal. There is flamenco guitar played throughout(no pick) , accompanying the cante(voice) in the traditional flamenco way, but also mixing in the right amount of metal to achieve a 50/50 balance. I mixed both 80's style metal vocals with traditional flamenco vocals that I rewrote to get my slightly evil point across. It is the first fusion of it's kind.
