Story Behind The Song
an actual church in Oak Grove, KY that I literally passed each day en route to work at Ft.Campbell. When I started hearing wedding bells in my relationship with my (now) wife, the song just wrote itself.

Lyrics
A Little Place Like That By Eric Robert Kiefer
A little country church that we pass most every day
With whitewashed stucco walls for those who come to pray
It sits along the highway, just a little out of sight
But, it caught my eye this evening and I thought we might
Find a little place like that, find a little place like that
Where we can take our vows and promise both our lives
To keep loving one another until the end of time
And walk hand-in-hand down every road and back
If we find a little place like that
(Guitar Solo)
A million little flowers, our families and our friends
And the preacher gives his blessing for our new life to begin
And up there on the highway, in the evening's fading light
Pass a world of perfect strangers who, with any luck, just might
Find a little place like that, find a little place like that
Where we can take our vows and promise both our lives
To keep loving one another until the end of time
And walk hand-in-hand down every road and back
If we find a little place like that
If we find a little place like that
