Sunrise Apartments, south facing 17th floor

So the coffee gets made and the older ones go and the day starts rockin' - but just a little too much

The baby's dropping cookies in the fishbowl on the coffee table and singing Ee Ii Ee Ii Oh with his heart and soul and he wants to be heard and I'm there to hear him
I'm standing by my wishing well, just this side the Holland Tunnel

I walk outside and a pretty girl walks by under her raven hair and her private thoughts and I think 'where is she going and what is her calling and how satisfied is she doing her daily sojourn down the sidewalks of choice'?

I ponder all that as the dinner gets made at the end of the day on the 17th floor, but it seems like I can't quite hold onto it all-I'm juggling fast but I take a look left while life goes right and...

The older boys are arguing and throwing punches in the family room
