Story Behind The Song
This song was written during a time when our family lost a dear relative to Lou Garricks disease. It was also written with the composers mother in mind and a version of it has been recorded also as "She is My Hero". The composer's mother who is 84 years old and has been through an enormous amount of health problems from major heart surgery to cancer surgery but her outlook on life has always remained the same, that of when God wants me I am ready. She is a true hero to the composer.
